This week is Teen Read Week, and Sellers Library is having a contest for teens to make a 6-second book trailer using Vine. I thought I'd share a couple of other book trailers using Vine I've seen that may help to inspire! They're simple, fun, and creative!

I liked the short trailers for The Mystery Box and The Choke Artist.
How did you do these? Were they done on an Ipad, what type of editing was done? I think this might be something my tweens would like to do.
These are done using a program called Vine, made from the folks that made Twitter. It's a free program for iOS and Android, so any most smartphones and tablets can use it.
The great thing about Vine is how simple it is to use. You point at what you want to record, and you hold your finger on the screen to record up to 6 seconds. There's no editing to do, you just point, shoot, and you're done!
