Eulaliiiiiiaaaaa! (from the inside flap)OPINION: This is another solid entry in the Redwall series, which now numbers 19 books. I have read every single one of them! Many of the stories have dealt with attacks on Redwall Abbey, and this one follows that pattern. Some people might see this as being formulaic, but Brian Jacques has a gift for inventing engaging characters that make each story unique. Maudie the fighting Salamandastron haremaid and Rangval the rogue squirrel are my particular favorites from this book. And, of course, the food is legendary! Reading these books always makes me hungry. It has been two years since the last release, so enjoy your return to Redwall!
