Last night, about 20 teens attended our medieval Calligraphy and Illumination workshop, led by Sarah. Everyone learned how to make a variety of fancy letters using real inks. Then, they illuminated small charms with letters and designs. It was very cool. Too bad I had to work downstairs! I did sneak up a few times and take some pictures, which are posted below.
All the teens who attended got to select one of the medieval buttons designed by the cartooning club. Collect all 16 by attending medieval-themed summer programs!
